Allow about 5 to 8.5 hours. You'll travel by seasonal x80 express bus or taxi, then walking in central athens and keep the final 90 minutes free for the return to your ship.

transit: About 35 minutes to central Athens on the seasonal X80

The X80 stops at the cruise-terminal exits and reaches the Acropolis and Syntagma area when its seasonal service is running.

taxi: Allow 30–55 minutes to Kangaroo Craft

Traffic varies sharply. Ask the driver to use Kolokotroni 44 and keep the return pickup easy to describe.

Cruise Terminal B, Themistocles

transit: Allow 40–55 minutes to central Athens on the seasonal X80

The X80 starting point moves to the Terminal B area on days when Themistocles is in use.

taxi: Allow 35–60 minutes to Kangaroo Craft

This terminal sits farther around the harbour, so keep a little more time for the road journey.

Terminal B is farther from central Piraeus. Do not begin by walking to the metro unless your ship gives specific directions.

If you don't know your berth

Check the gangway sign for Terminal A or B. If it is still unclear, use the Terminal B travel allowance and ask port staff which X80 stop or taxi rank serves your ship.
