Take a city bus toward the centre, then continue by metro or bus to Södermalm. Check SL for the day's connection.

Frihamnen contains several numbered quays. Follow your ship's signs back to the same terminal gate.
StadsgÄrden waterfront below Södermalm
transit: Allow 10â20 minutes to Litet Nystan
Use the local bus or walk uphill through Södermalm if the route suits your mobility and the weather.
taxi: Allow about 10 minutes
Litet Nystan is a short ride across Södermalm.
The quay is below Södermalm's higher streets; the most direct walk includes a climb.

Walk to Slussen and continue by bus, or take a taxi directly to Folkungagatan.

NynÀshamn, 60 km south of Stockholm
transit: Allow 70â90 minutes to Litet Nystan
Walk to NynÀshamn station, take the commuter train toward Stockholm, and change for Södermalm. Check the live SL journey before leaving the ship.

A ship transfer to central Stockholm can simplify the long journey, but its return time controls the day.
Plan on at least seven clear hours ashore for one Stockholm yarn stop and a live return connection.
Check your ship's app or daily program before you go ashore. Look for Frihamnen, StadsgÄrden, Skeppsbron, or NynÀshamn; they create very different travel times. If the city quay is still unclear, allow the Frihamnen travel time. For NynÀshamn, use the longer timing shown for that port.

2 yarn shops to explore. Stockholm has credible yarn stores with real natural-fiber inventory, but cruise routing changes a lot by berth. Frihamnen is the conservative route start; Stadsgarden can make Sodermalm and central city stops easier, while Nynashamn is a different day entirely.
