San Juan yarn-crawl guide
The Caribbean's best yarn call — as a planned taxi errand wrapped around Old San Juan, not a pier stroll.
Docking at Old San Juan cruise piers (Piers 1–4) — Calle La Marina, Old San Juan, San Juan, PR 00901. Puerto Rico (United States).
Shore-day plan
Taxi or rideshare to Madejas in Puerto Nuevo as the anchor yarn stop, then return for Old San Juan browsing. Call Punto Reves before adding it to the route, and save Alonso Sobrino in Bayamón for a long call with a dedicated ride plan.
Distances use the Old San Juan piers (Piers 1–4) on Calle La Marina. Homeport calls that use the Pan American Pier across the bay add taxi time in both directions — recheck the math for your ship.

Madejas
410 Avenida De Diego, San Juan, PR 00920

The shop's own website is offline and only directory listings back it; call ahead before committing any shore time.
- 3.
Alonso Sobrino
30 Calle Islandia, Flamboyán Gardens, Bayamón, PR 00959
Plan ahead · 8.0 mi / 12.9 km · A century-old fabric and craft house, now in Bayamón — a dedicated ride-out-and-back, not an Old Town add-on.
Known for: fabric, craft supplies, jewelry-making, resin and clay
Open Monday–Saturday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, but note it relocated from Old San Juan to Bayamón; older guides that call it walkable are out of date.
