Distances use Cruise Port Amsterdam at Piet Heinkade. River-cruise berths and event-boat docks can use different locations, so confirm the terminal before relying on walking times.

Use the tram or walk to Centraal Station, then continue into the canal belt.

A ship transfer to central Amsterdam is the simplest option when offered.
taxi: Allow 45–70 minutes to De Afstap
Traffic and tunnel delays can change the trip; arrange a firm return pickup.
IJmuiden is a separate coastal port. A central Amsterdam yarn day needs a long call and dependable return transport.
Look for Piet Heinkade in Amsterdam or Cruiseboulevard in IJmuiden. They are about 30 km apart. If your documents only say Amsterdam, ask the ship to confirm the terminal before planning the day.
